All three of today’s readings strike a similar chord – that a Son of Man comes on the clouds (a picture of the glory of God) as the King of kings and Lord of lords. Some see faith as a private, personal matter, but there will be nothing private about the coming of Jesus. And though we don’t know the timing of His coming, we know that it will happen. It’s only a matter of when. God is calling us to confess Jesus as King and Lord today – to live in accordance with His Kingdom today.

Today’s message hones in on the rich imagery of Revelation 7:9-17 with the multitude robed in white standing before God’s throne, lifting up praises and shouts of victory. Such an image inspires hope – there truly is a place of peace, rest, and joy for us beyond this life. And…
