Hope Worship – September 17, 2023

God blesses each person with gifts by which we can be a blessing to the body of Christ. Trusting in the grace of God, we resist the temptation to either to deny our gifts or to overemphasize them at the expense and to the exclusion of the gifts of others – rather, we “think so as to have sound judgment,” acknowledging both the gifts that God has given us and the gifts that God has given others. We rejoice in serving with our gifts, and we praise God for His gifts at work in the lives of our brothers and sisters. Today’s message is “Everyone Is a Gift with Gifts” (Romans 12:3-8), the second message in our five-part series called “Gifted for More.”

Hope Worship – September 10, 2023

You matter. Your life is a gift from the loving hand of our generous God. So is the life of your neighbor. Before we could do anything, God gave us everything – He created us in His image, and He redeemed us through His Son. The loving action of God is the ultimate affirmation of the value of every human being. In response to His love, we trust in His grace and offer our lives as a gift for the glory of God and the blessing of those around us. Today’s message is “Everyone Is a Gift” (Ephesians 2:1-10), the first message in our five-part series called “Gifted for More.”

Hope Worship – August 20, 2023

The longer we walk with Christ and live within His church, perhaps the greater the temptation becomes to see ourselves as “insiders,” as people who have a right to belong. But our standing with Christ and our membership in the church is never a matter of status or deserving, but…
