This week, we confess the reality of our three-in-one God. But God is no mere object to be studied. God is the subject, the Creator, the One who acts to bring life to all things. And He invites us today to understand His work in our lives and in the world through the one true story of all things – the account of reality centered in the life, rejection, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. In his Pentecost message, Peter argues that this is the true story with which every person must reckon. But for those who believe and are baptized, God makes this a life-changing, life-giving story.
