When the Holy Spirit brings us to faith and life in Jesus, He makes us people of hope. Paul writes that the sufferings of this present age are not worth comparing to the glory that is to be revealed to us. The Spirit gives us eyes of faith to see that God is at work, and that He will bring ultimate deliverance and healing to us and to the world, even if the present looks bleak. And not only that, but the Spirit helps us in our weakness by praying for God’s deliverance to come to us, praying the prayers for us that we are unable to pray on our own. Today’s message is “Hope and Help through the Holy Spirit,” based on Romans 8:18-27.
