Hope Worship – September 3, 2023

What does it mean for Jesus to be the promised Messiah? It means that He will lay down His life. And those who follow Him are called to do the same: to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Him. As the church, we have the gift and the calling to help each other do just that – to let go of the impulse to chase after all that will pass away in order that we might hold on tightly to the One who has come through death to the other side, alive forever. Today’s message is “Losing My Life to Find It in Jesus,” based on Matthew 16:21-28.
