A blessed Memorial Day weekend to you. As we hear today’s reading from 1 Peter 4 and 5, we can’t avoid the word. And yet, we join our culture in seeking to avoid it like the plague. What’s the word? Suffer. May God bless us as we consider Peter’s call to trust God in the midst of suffering, knowing that He can work even that for our good. Our message today is “A Dirty Word,” based on 1 Peter 4:12-19, 5:6-11.
