There is the mistaken notion that freedom equals the ability to determine what’s right and good, what’s true for me. Hidden behind that view is a lack of awareness that lies never liberate – they only enslave. We will have a master. Would you rather believe the lies of the one who hates you and seeks your doom, or the true words of the One who died for you to redeem you and make you fully alive?
